From the trading floor to the training room
Kamlesh Jain spent 16 years in investment banking across the world, at Goldman Sachs, Nomura and Lehman Brothers, with earlier roles at Citibank, The World Bank and Accenture. He was Head of Equities at Nomura and Head of the Global Real Estate Group at Lehman Brothers, managed businesses with over US$15 billion in transaction and book value, and built and led teams of more than 400 professionals.
In that world a single wrong digit makes headlines. Kamlesh noticed that the costliest mistakes rarely came from a lack of intelligence or skill. They came from a lapse of attention. In 2012 he founded The Attention Institute to solve that problem, and created PACT, the Power of Attention and Concentration Training.
Why organisations call him
Kamlesh is known for a "from the heart, from experience" speaking style. He makes complex ideas simple and relevant, shares real stories from global investment banking, and leaves audiences, from senior leadership to first-year associates, with tools they use the next morning. He is a popular speaker at townhalls, keynote sessions and leadership meets for global clients, and is faculty at SP Jain.
"Kamlesh is by far one of the most impressive trainers I've ever seen. He somehow kept an entire room completely captivated for practically 9 full hours straight."Amarthya Dutta Gupta, Siemens Healthineers, on LinkedIn
Built entirely by word of mouth
The Attention Institute has never advertised. No ads, no sales team, no campaigns. Since 2012 its programs have reached more than 200,000 professionals in India, the US, Kuwait, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, the Philippines, Sri Lanka and China, at clients including the Big 4, MBB consulting firms and leading global banks.
